Celtic Cask 52 Caoga a Do 2007 Amontillado

Triple distilled single malt that was initially matured in exbourbon casks before filling a 500 litre ex-Amontillado solera cask from Bodegas Emilio Hidalgo in August 2013. The ex-sherry cask has proven to be a generous friend of the angels and 43% evaporation has occurred in the last 10 years.

Nose: Developed aromas with nutty, dried vine fruits, dried apricots, figs with fruit n nut chocolate.

Palate: Thick, oily & rich. Delicious, dried fruits, caramel toffee, prunes, blueberry jam & quince jelly.

Finish: Lovely balance between whiskey and cask influence.

This whiskey is unchill-filtered with no added colouring and was bottled at cask strength
